Shared Rural Network – New Explainer Videos Published

The Shared Rural Network, a £1 billion pound joint initiative between the UK Government and the four mobile network operators (EE, O2, Three and Vodafone) will extend rural 4G mobile broadband coverage to 95% of the UK's landmass.To provide further detail and to help people visualise what the Shared Rural Network will provide a new set of videos have been produced.

By upgrading their existing networks and working together on shared infrastructure and new sites, the MNOs and the UK Government will transform mobile coverage in rural areas. Individually, each operator wil lreach 90% geographic coverage, which will result in 84% of the UK having 4G coverage from all four operators, increasing choice and boosting productivityin rural areas.
