Mobile UK comments on Welsh Economy, Infrastructure and Skills Committee report on Digital Infrastructure

Commenting on the Infrastructure Committee’s report on the state of digital infrastructure in Wales, Director of Mobile UK, Hamish MacLeod, said:

“The Welsh EIS Committee’s report is a strong call to action for the Government to support investment in digital connectivity.”

“Further planning reform is rightly prioritised by the Committee as a vital requirement of the much-anticipated Mobile Action Plan to meet the unique challenges of extending mobile coverage in Wales.”

“Mobile UK welcomes the Committee’s report as it brings renewed focus on the need for urgent action without which risks Wales falling further behind other areas of the UK.”
