Joint Operators Technical Specification

On 16th November, Mobile UK, as the UK trade body for EE, O2, Three and Vodafone, published The Joint Operators Technical Specification (JOTS) Forum’s latest technical specification on in-building coverage solutions.

The four UK operators of the JOTS forum have come together to define a common technical standard, called Neutral Host In-Building (NHIB), for connecting shared in-building radio solutions based on 4G small-cell technologies.

This cross-operator agreed technical specification will be of significant relevance to any third-party neutral-host who may seek to provide better in-building coverage for the customers of one or more of the UK operators.
